The Monarch Gardens on Grand Ave.

Join Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory board members and Monarch and native garden enthusiasts Shelly Culea and Jill Kunsmann at City Hall, and meet Library Director Tom Carson and Port Washington Garden Club member, Char Little, at the W.J. Niederkorn Library for an introduction to the native plant gardens installed at these sites. Both these gardens provide important habitat for Monarch butterflies and other pollinators and help to combat habitat fragmentation. Volunteers interested in helping with garden clean-up are more than welcome to join in.Bring garden gloves and a trowel.
