March 20, 2015 WGLBBO Launches New Website Online

As you can see, the WGLBBO website has a whole new look.  We hope people will find the new website user friendly.  It is our hope that the new site will allow us to inform the public of the many monitoring and conservation-related projects that are going on at WGLBBO.  In the future you should expect more changes to the website - and we apologize for any inconvenience as we continue with upgrades in the coming months.

March 20, 2015 Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II

Our WGLBBO Director Bill Mueller is deeply involved in the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II project.  As a member of the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II Steering Committee, Bill has travelled across the state giving lectures and attending meetings on the Atlas.

March 20, 2015 Waterbird Watch 2015 Spring Season

The WGLBBO Waterbird Watch has commenced again for the 2015 spring season. Calvin Brennan, our watch technician, started on March 1, from his blind in Harrington Beach State Park. March 20, 2015 Midwest Landbird Migration Monitoring Network Strategic Plan Released.

In January of 2014, WGLBBO hired a coordinator to help develop a strategic action plan for MLMMN.  The strategic action plan has been released, as of February 2015.
