Species # 250 for Forest Beach Migratory Preserve, was tallied just the other day, at the September 10th raptor watch: a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.
This is a milestone - it took just a bit under 7 years to reach this number.
Among other rare species found here during that time:
N. Mockingbird
Plegadis (sp) Ibis
Western Kingbird
Mississippi Kite
Western Wood-Pewee (only the 3rd ever found in WI)
