WGLBBO welcomes Leakhena Au to our Board of Directors. Leakhena Au is a resident of Ozaukee County. She has recently returned to Wisconsin after living in Virginia for over 7 years. She is a wildlife biologist interested in furthering life-cycle conservation of species, and in landscape level habitat conservation and management. She is currently the Regional Wildlife Program Manager for the U.S. Forest Service, coordinating wildlife management priorities across the Midwest and Northeastern U.S. She previously worked in the Migratory Bird and Ecological Services programs for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, focused most recently on conservation of priority habitats for birds in North America and elsewhere in the Western Hemisphere.
In her spare time, Leakhena enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, camping, and birding.
